Creating Photo Albums

  1. Navigate to "Create a New Album" on the menu under "Albums"
  2. Fill in the Customer Information Form, choose and verify a password. You can choose to receive special offers by checking the 'email?' box and selecting whether you prefer plain text or html email messages.
  3. If you want this to be a Shared Album among family or friends, enter a codeword in the "Share Code" box.
  4. After you are satisfied that everything is accurate, click the 'Add Customer Data' button and you've created an album! The album will assigne you a unique "Customer ID" but will use your email address and password to log in to your photo album. Don't worry, we always respect your privacy.
  5. Next time you return to you can go directly to "My Album" to login to your photo album.

Shared Photo Albums

Sharing your photo album with family and friends is a safe and convenient way to share your photographs across the internet! Family members and friends will need your Customer ID and Share Code to be able to log in to your album. Only the owner of the photo album can make changes to the album's contents, so your images are kept secure while others view your album. Securely sharing your album is easy to do.

Sharing your Album

  1. Log in to your account by entering your email address and password.
  2. Once logged in, click "My Customer Info" from the CART pull down menu.
  3. In your Customer Information Form, fill in a secret word(s) in the " Share Code" box and click on "Update Customer Data"
  4. "Full Resolution Viewing" enables your shared album to display clickable thumbnails which will allow your friends to view large scale, full-resolution images. Doing this gives full access to the original image file you uploaded, so only check this box if keeping your images secure among your album viewers is NOT an issue.
  5. Email your family and friends the following three pieces of information:

Viewing a Shared Album as a New User

  1. In your browser, open :
  2. Enter Customer ID and Share Code you received from your family member or friend.
  3. The Shared Album will open. You can see the images there as thumbnails, or if you prefer, click on an image to have it load the full resolution image in a blank window. (this could take a while if image files are large, which most print quality digital images are)
  4. If you are interested in ordering prints or products from these images, fill in the check boxes below the images you want, and click the "Order Prints and Products" button.
  • If you do not have an account, you will be redirected to customer info, where you can create your own account. After doing so, click either "Back to Album" to return there, or "Back to Shopping Cart" to go directly to the cart. Here, you can select which products you would like to order from each image.
  • If you do have an account, enter your email and password, and you will be logged in to your account information. At this point, you can click on "Back to Shopping Cart" to go select your desired prints or products. [top]

Viewing a Shared Album as an Existing User

You can view a shared album even if you are already a customer too! Simply log in to your photo album, and from there, enter the Customer ID and Share Code of the shared album you wish to view, click on "View Shared Album" and it will open for your to view. You may order prints and products from the shared album if you desire. [top]

Uploading Images to your Photo Album

  1. Click on the "Add Photos" button in your Photo Album.
  2. Depending on your browser and operating system, you will see either the JAVA Applet Upload page or our form upload page.
  3. On the applet page, you will see a gray box which loads and allows you to upload up to 50 files at a time, including entire folders.
  4. Otherwise, on the alternate upload page, select the number of photos you would like to upload to your album from the drop down box.
  5. Navigate through your hard drive by clicking the 'Browse' button next to each image box and select the image files you wish to upload to your album.
  6. Note: Acceptable image types include JPG, TIF (w/o LZW compression), BMP, TGA, and FPX.
  7. Click "Upload Photos" to start the process of uploading your images into your photo album. Depending on your modem/connection speed and image sizes, this process could take from a few minutes to much longer. You should see either a small animation or a status indicator that that tells you the upload process is moving ahead.
  8. If you attempt to upload incompatible image formats (.gif, .ai, .psd etc.) you will see a message displayed informing you of the incompatibility. Otherwise, you will see a message displayed telling you the upload was Successful!

Acceptable Image Formats

We can produce photographic quality prints from your images as long as they are in the following formats: .jpg , .tif (without LZW compression) .bmp , .tga , and .fpx. Please convert your images to one of these formats before attempting to upload them into your album. [top]

Removing Images from your Photo Album

After an image has been in your album for 90 days, it will be automatically removed. If before then, you would like to remove images from your photo album, you may do so using our "Remove Photos" page.

  1. In your photo album, click on the the "Remove" button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Once the Remove Photos page loads, select the individual images you would like to remove from your photo album by placing a check in the box beneath them. Make sure the "Remove Selected" button has a dot in it. It does by default.
  3. If you desire all images to be removed, you can simply choose the "Select All" button.
  4. When you are certain everything is correct, click on "Remove Photos".
  5. After your browser window reloads, you can click on "Back to My Album" .
  6. In some cases, you may need to refresh your album window to see your updated album with photos removed from it. [top]

Customer ID: A unique number assigned to you by the photo album system. You can use your Customer ID to view your orders and share your otherwise private photo album. [top]

Customer Information: This is where you can update your mailing address, phone number, email address, password or add or remove your Share Code for your private photo album.

Encryption: Our shopping cart credit card processor uses 128 bit encryption, so your information is as safe as it can be on the net! If your browser does not support 128 bit encryption, you may not be able to use our shopping cart without upgrading. Check here to see if you have the latest version of either Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer. [top]

Privacy: You can feel confident knowing that ezprints will never user your personal information for any purposes other than shipping you your order or contacting you in regard to your account. We will not sell, trade, or rent your personal information collected online to third parties. See our Privacy page for more information.

Remove Photos: Photos are automatically removed from your album 30 days after they have been uploaded. If you wish you remove photos sooner than this, you may do so using the "Remove" button in your photo album. You may select individual images to have removed, or all of them by filling in the appropriate check boxes. [top]

Shared Album: Shared Photo Albums are a safe and convenient way to share photos with family and friends across the internet. A Customer ID and Share Code are needed for someone to be able to log in to your album, so it's secured against unwanted viewers. Also, only the owner may modify (add to, delete from or change names) the contents of a Shared Album.

Share Code: A secret password you can share with your friends and family so that they might be able to login to view your photo album. Share Codes can be up to 255 characters long and may include numbers, letters as well as spaces, such as "Monkey Wrench148" or "Bob14". [top]

Shopping Cart:The shopping cart system is filled with features to help you select multiple products from your images while still allowing you to modify each image individually or even split up your order to be shipped to multiple addresses.
